After volunteering in Uganda for a couple weeks, I maintained contact with Joseph who was running a non profit in the community of Biwindi. While in Biwindi, My friend Alexia and I donated school supplies and food to schools and the community. It was truly a life changing and enriching experience. I have dreamt, since I was a kid, of flying to Africa to experience and witness life there. My mother would always tell me about kids in Africa dying and not having food on their table. That was her way of making me eat all my food, but I guess it worked :).
